Check out illustrator Achraf Amiri’s work as he wreaks horror and havoc with some of our favorite labels….WE LOVE. I’m actually contemplating commissioning him for a self portrait. How deathly chic….

DETOXIFICATION

Wednesday, March 9th, 2011

Last week was absolute DEBOUCH! I think I slept 9 hours.. the WHOLE WEEK. In between the parties, yachts, and after after parties, I feel an itch in my liver and a tickle in my kidneys. Its total detox and diet time…. I’ve locked my self up in the house for three days and stuffed my fridge from the organic supermarket. I see the glittery gold bottles of champagne behind the wheat bread and heads of lettuce I plan on eating. I’VE BEEN PACING BACK AND FORTH STARING AT THE CEILING NOT KNOWING WHAT TO DO WITH MYSELF. GO OUT? I CANT DRINK…STAY HOME AND SLEEP AGAIN, AT THE POTENTIAL RISK OF GETTING FAT? This is all so confusing. What do regular people do all day???

Im not going to show you all of the pix because it wouldn’t make it very exclusive would it…but im sure you will be able to see them at the store. Pictures from the Launch party coming soon!

The New Traffic Gallery

Thursday, November 18th, 2010

Rami Farook’s gallery Traffic has relocated to Al Qouz (a very convenient section of it) and it didn’t cease to impress. The massive space debut works by Hesam Rahmanian along with Rami’s private collection which was on display. The opening had the who’s who of Dubai’s art scene along with a performance by concious Arab hip hop artist Narcicyst . I wont reveal too much as i’ll leave it to you to go and check it out. It is defiantely worth the trip.
